Thikana Bada Khera is a First & Special class nobel of Bundi State. Thikana was founded by Kunwar Jait Singh, son of Maharajadhiraj Bairisal Singh, founder of Balwan State. Maharajadhiraj Bairisal Singh was the son of Maharaj Kunwar Gopinath Singh and grandson of Shri Sir Buland Rai Ram MahaRao Raja Ratan Singh Saheb Bahadur of Bundi. Kunwar Jait Singh denied his share of paternal property from Balwan State and established the separate estate of Bada Khera. Bada Khera is a Triple Title Thikana ("Sona" & "Taazim" & "Hath ka Kurb"). The Maharaja of Bada Khera has first class judicial power in Bundi state. The Maharaja of Bada Khera did not pay any tribute at Bundi Darbar like other Thikanedars and Jagirdars and he occupies the first seat on the right hand of Maharao Raja of Bundi in the darbar
